Trying to get back to it

I’m sorry I haven’t posted lately, but as is possibly the case with most 74 year-olds, health, or lack of it, can be a problem. Since I last posted I got COVID and shingles….at the same time and I’m still occasionally itching from the shingles. Add to that the fact that I had four, yes four, complete knee replacements over the last 3.5 years. They have not gone well, otherwise I wouldn’t have had the replacements of the replacements. And the second round only ended up slightly better. Oh, and tack on a tornado which did some $70,000 in damage and you can see why I’ve been a little distracted.

Anyway, enough whining, I hope you are all are doing well in your crossstitch worlds. If you’ve checked out CrossStitchX.com over the last few days you can see that Dan put three new free patterns on here as well as the link for them. All three of them are probably on the more difficult side, but he said he’s going to put some simpler one on there over the next few days. I told him he needed to include at least one or two samplers. That’s what I started with about three decades ago and I still love to do them.

I hope the various instructions are helping an beginners who have stopped by CrossStitchX.com. We tried to come up with categories which would be helpful to all beginners regardless of age. We’ll be adding more over the next few weeks.

As far as this blog, I hope to add something ever week or two or at least once a month.

Anyway, I’m going to close there and see if I can get some stitching done. I hope you all have great days and weeks to come with everything in your lives.

Happy Stitching

Jane
